Biofeedback / Neurofeedback

Helping patients be better able to control the involuntary functions of their bodies when encountering stress or other symptoms.

Biofeedback is an empirically validated treatment approach that our office offers. This technique involves using visual and auditory feedback to help control over involuntary bodily functions. Biofeedback is effective for conditions that are heavily influenced by stress such as eating disorders, bed-wetting, high blood pressure, chronic pain, and anxiety. Neurofeedback is training of brain function, by which the brain learns to function more effectively. This is used to help conditions such as ADHD, stress disorder, anxiety, headaches, migraines, memory and sleep issues. Our clients have reported enhanced memory and focus, decreased impulsivity and anxiety, better mental clarity, more restful sleep, improved mood, and a host of other benefits as a result of this treatment.
