Karen Schwartz was born and raised in Miami, FL. Karen studied psychology at Wake Forest University and the University of Miami. Ms. Schwartz received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Miami in 2017. Karen continued her higher education at Barry University,  where she received a Master’s of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Ms. Schwartz was a Golden Key Member at the University of Miami, as she graduated in the top 15% of her class.

Karen is a current member of Chi Sigma Iota, the Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society. Ms. Schwartz currently practices therapy as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and has a wide variety of experience working with adolescents and adults. In the past,  Ms. Schwartz had experience in the fields of addictions and eating disorders.

Karen loved working with students with autism and ADHD, as a reading tutor at Lindamood-Bell. Karen has counseled many clients with personality disorders, anxiety, and depression. Ms. Schwartz enjoys providing evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Karen likes spending her free time going to the beach and spending time with family, friends, and her dog.
